Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina organizes Spring Meeting 2025 and celebrates Hung Kings' Death Anniversary

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Argentina Jorge Kreyness; Cuban Ambassador to Argentina Pedro Pablo Prada and President of the Argentina-Vietnam Cultural Institute Poldi Sosa Smith attended the event.

Speaking at the intimate meeting and commemoration of the Hung Kings' death anniversary, Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Ngo Minh Nguyet emphasized that in the minds of every Vietnamese person, the Hung Kings are the national ancestors who built the first State of Vietnam, and are the common ancestors of the nation.

Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet expressed that all Vietnamese people are proud to carry the blood of "children of Lac - grandchildren of Hong" and affirmed that no matter where they are, Vietnamese people remember the death anniversary of their ancestors and turn to their homeland, where there is the Hung Kings Temple in Phu Tho province, which is also the place where generations of Vietnamese people remember and honor the merits of the Hung Kings, a symbol of the great solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet also said that in just a few days, the Vietnamese people will celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

On this occasion, Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet expressed her gratitude for the solidarity, support and valuable assistance of international friends across five continents, including the people of Latin American countries, not only in the resistance war against foreign invaders, for independence, freedom and national reunification, but also in the process of international integration and development of Vietnam.

Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet expressed her wish to continue receiving valuable cooperation and support from friends to contribute to strengthening and deepening the traditional friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina and Cuba, as well as other Latin American countries.

At the event, together with guests, international friends, officials, staff, family members of the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina and the overseas Vietnamese community enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes.
