Previously, during a visit to the Q&T factory on October 8, Pakistani Ambassador to Vietnam Kohdayar Marri also said that he was surprised by Q&T's modern technology. With the development and mastery of this technology, Vietnam can now use Q&T's products to print multi-layer paper after 20 years of having to import blanks from foreign exclusive partners.

In particular, this is also the third factory in the world that can produce multi-layer base paper to supply about 40 countries using polymer money globally. The Ambassador from the South Asian country added that Pakistan is also in the process of converting from paper money to polymer money, so it is very interested in Q&T's products and technology and wishes to have cooperation, support, and technology transfer in this field between the two countries.

Not only foreign ambassadors, in his speech at the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between Crane Currency Group and Q&T with the presence of the Commercial Counselor of the US Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Steve Green on August 29, Mr. Bui Cong Lu, former Director of the National Printing Factory shared: "Our big dream is that Vietnam has a factory that can proactively print money and produce security printing paper, but in our time it has not been possible to do so.

Now, Q&T Polymer Company has realized the big dream of our generation. From now on, the National Printing Factory has a second choice with full standard conditions to be a partner in printing money. This is also an opportunity to reduce printing costs, ensure currency security and save more for the national budget."

According to Q&T Chairman Luong Ngoc Anh, the company's security paper production technology is the most advanced technology currently invested in research and development by the company itself with an investment of more than 50 million USD. This technology of Q&T has been granted a patent by the Ministry of Science and Technology, recognized and protected by Vietnamese law. This technology has not yet been commercialized in the world and is being applied for the first time in Vietnam.

Mr. Luong Ngoc Anh added, "As we know, polymer money has many advantages over traditional paper money. They are more durable, environmentally friendly and safer from counterfeiting. This technology not only improves the efficiency of the financial system but also contributes to the country's sustainable economic development."
