Dai-ichi Life Vietnam honored to win two major awards at APEA 2023

The two award-winning categories are “Corporate Excellence Award” and “Inspirational Brand Award”.

This is the third consecutive year (2021 - 2023) that Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has won two double awards at APEA 2023.

This impressive achievement affirms the sustainable growth strategy and the journey to build a leading Japanese life insurance brand that is influential and inspiring with the message "Connecting millions of loves", along with meaningful initiatives and programs to bring a secure life and a happy future to customers, families and the community.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the life insurance market faced many fluctuations and challenges. Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is one of the few life insurance companies that maintained growth momentum and achieved profits equivalent to the same period last year. The Company's pre-tax profit reached approximately VND 1,600 billion, contributing more than VND 300 billion to the state budget.

With equity of VND 9,800 billion and total assets of over VND 62,000 billion (up 7.5% compared to the beginning of 2023), Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is in the Top 3 largest foreign life insurance companies with leading business efficiency in Vietnam.

Always committed to bringing customers superior benefits and practical values, in the first 6 months of 2023, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has paid insurance benefits of more than VND 2,100 billion for 160,000 cases, of which Health Care insurance benefits of more than VND 500 billion were paid for more than 90,000 cases, bringing the total amount of insurance benefits paid to more than VND 17,000 billion for more than 1.5 million cases over the past 16 years.

In order to develop professional human resources and focus on improving the quality of financial consulting, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is promoting a campaign to recruit tens of thousands of employees with an attractive "recruiting talented people" policy in 2023.
