Dai-ichi Life Vietnam continues to support education for students in flood-affected areas

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam continues to accompany Thai Nguyen children after the storm and flood.

Previously, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam also awarded 100 cash aid packages worth VND 120 million to 100 households affected by storms and floods in Thai Nguyen province (September 24, 2024).

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Director of Thai Nguyen General Agency Office, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, awarded scholarships to students in Minh Lap commune, Dong Hy district.

Particularly, Thai Nguyen General Agency Office, directed by Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, is currently honored to serve more than 10,000 customers and families, through a team of more than 300 professional financial consultants, affirming its position as one of the businesses with the highest new premium revenue and renewal premium retention rate in the Northeast. In 2024, Thai Nguyen General Agency Office paid insurance benefits to more than 1,300 cases, totaling more than 12 billion VND . In-depth training programs are also regularly deployed for the financial consulting team to update product knowledge, business environment, equip important skills, and modern technology to approach and support customers better and better.

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam closed the challenging journey in 2024, making its mark on the market with positive business results: Total insurance premium revenue reached over VND 19,200 billion , market share reached 13.1% ; new insurance premium revenue was about VND 3,550 billion , leading among foreign-invested life insurance companies in Vietnam; after-tax profit was over VND 2,100 billion , contributing nearly VND 1,000 billion to the State budget; total assets were over VND 75,000 billion , up 13% compared to 2023.

Always committed to ensuring superior benefits for customers, in 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam paid insurance benefits to more than 370,000 cases, totaling VND 4,800 billion , bringing the total payment to more than VND 24,300 billion for more than 2 million cases in 17 years. The company also set aside a technical reserve of more than VND 50,000 billion to ensure future benefits for customers.
