On April 9, the Organizing Committee for the establishment of the Association of Former People's Police Officers of Tan Hung district coordinated with the Staff Team - District Police to organize the Congress to establish the Association of Former People's Police Officers of the district, term 2024 - 2029. The Congress approved the report on the establishment process of the Association and announced the Decision of the Chairman of Tan Hung District People's Committee on allowing the establishment of the Tan Hung District Former Police Officers Association.
The Congress also approved the Association's direction of activities in the coming time with many key contents. In particular, it will focus on propagating and promoting the fine traditions of the People's Public Security force, contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Public Security force; mobilizing members to participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing their strength, intelligence, and experience to successfully achieve the goals of socio-economic development, national defense and security; participating in the movement to protect national security in the locality according to the provisions of law.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the District Former Police Officers Association, consisting of 15 members; the Standing Committee of the Association, consisting of 03 members; and the Inspection Committee, consisting of 02 members. Mr. Tran Ba Tong was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Tan Hung District Former Police Officers Association, term 2024 - 2029.

To successfully implement the goals and tasks of the Association's activities in the coming time, Mr. Le Thanh Yen requested the District Former Police Association to urgently improve its organization, build and perfect its operating regulations; effectively implement the work of mobilizing and gathering members, gradually enhancing the role, position and prestige of the Association. Along with that, it is necessary to continue to inherit, promote and contribute more on all fronts, especially actively contributing to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
