Attending the event were comrade Hoang Binh Quan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central External Relations Commission, former First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Honorary President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Mai Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Commission; Nguyen Cao Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were leaders of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches, sectors and organizations; leaders of districts and cities; the Provincial Business Association; Young Entrepreneurs Associations of a number of provinces and cities; and 176 delegates who are typical young entrepreneurs of the province.
On this occasion, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council sent a flower basket to congratulate the Congress.
In the 2018-2023 term, closely following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the courage and enthusiasm of young entrepreneurs in Ninh Binh province, the Association's work and the young entrepreneurs' movement in the province have had positive and clear changes, achieving many outstanding results in many fields.
The work of building and developing the Association's organization has received attention. During the term, the Association has completed 39 members of the Association's Committee, attracting 167 members to participate in activities.
Many programs, activities of exchange, trade promotion, joint ventures, investment cooperation, production and business using products have been promoted; coordinated organization and participation in 12 high-quality seminars, training and coaching programs with the sharing of leading experts at home and abroad. Thereby contributing to strengthening cooperation and association between young enterprises, creating new resources and development opportunities for members, while enhancing the overall strength and position of the young business community in Ninh Binh.
In addition to production and business tasks, in recent years, members of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association have actively participated in charity and humanitarian activities, built 4 Houses of Gratitude, presented thousands of gifts... to people in difficult circumstances inside and outside the province with a total value of billions of VND, making practical contributions to social security work in the locality.
With the goal of strengthening solidarity, gathering young entrepreneurs, developing and improving the quality of the Association's activities in a professional, effective and practical direction, in the 2024-2028 term, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association determined: Continue to strengthen the Association; accompany member enterprises to improve competitiveness in international economic integration; support entrepreneurs and enterprises to quickly access information on law, business, advanced technology, production linkage, and brand enhancement; support young people to start businesses and creative startups, strengthen social security activities, and contribute practically to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association in the past term.
He also provided an overview of the province's outstanding socio-economic development achievements, viewpoints and development orientations in the coming time with the goal of building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city by 2035 with the characteristics of a millennium heritage city and a creative city. He affirmed that in recent years, the Provincial People's Committee has consistently implemented the policy of "Government accompanying, connecting and sharing" with the business community. With the motto "Taking enterprises as the center, aiming at enterprises", the Provincial People's Committee has always paid attention to and created the most favorable conditions within the legal framework to encourage enterprises to promote their internal strength, develop many types of enterprises and especially for the Young Entrepreneurs Association.
On that basis, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son proposed: In the 2024 - 2028 term, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association continues to promote propaganda and mobilize young entrepreneurs to deeply and fully understand their roles and missions, inherit and promote the tradition of solidarity, uphold the spirit of patriotism; well implement the Party's guidelines, policies and the State's laws.
Encourage the business community to build business ethics and culture; study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; uphold social responsibility, participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements. Continue to be a bridge between young business people and Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, unions and the Provincial Business Association. Promote creativity and reflect the thoughts and aspirations of members, advise provincial leaders on policies and strategies suitable to local conditions. Build an information system to ensure quick response to the market.
In addition, continue to promote the application of digital transformation and green transformation; grasp the application of new technology; be an active member participating in building the "Four pillars" of economic development of the province, focusing on developing tourism, cultural industry associated with heritage economy as a breakthrough; develop high-tech industry, taking modern, environmentally friendly transport mechanical industry as a driving force; promote innovative startups and develop ecological, multi-value agriculture as a pillar to promote the socio-economic development of the province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, constantly build up its forces, develop its organization, encourage young people in all professions to participate in the Association, pay attention to the work of building Party organizations and socio-political organizations in non-state enterprises. Regularly take care of the interests of workers and take the lead in building a cultural lifestyle for entrepreneurs and enterprises, have a sense of responsibility to the community, contributing to building Ninh Binh province increasingly rich and civilized.
At the Congress, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; the Provincial Business Association and the Provincial Youth Union presented fresh flower baskets expressing their affection and expectations for the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2024-2028 term.
The Congress consulted and elected the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association Committee, term V, consisting of 39 members. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoi, Chairman of Hoi Phu Quy Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, term IV, was re-elected as Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, term V, 2024 - 2028.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movements of the Association were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
