Speaking at the congress, comrade Vu Thanh Hai, Party Secretary and Director of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, said that during the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee has led the plant to perform well in Party building work and successfully complete the annual political tasks assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group. Since its establishment with 3 affiliated Party cells with 32 Party members, the Plant Party Committee now has 76 Party members. The Plant Party Committee has continuously achieved the title of "Party Committee that completes its tasks well" every year during the term. The Party Committee has rewarded 5 Party organizations and 25 Party members for excellently completing their tasks for the year; at the same time, led the mass organizations in the plant to achieve the strong title every year.
The Party Committee focuses on improving the capacity and fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, solidarity, dynamism, creativity, promoting democracy, leading the political system to successfully complete annual tasks. In particular, promoting the internal strength and combined strength of all party members and employees to operate generators well, ensuring the completion of the annual electricity output plan with the criteria: providing safe, stable and continuous electricity for socio-economic development needs, contributing to ensuring national energy security; focusing on social security work. Specifically, the accumulated electricity output from 2020 to the end of 2024 and the expected first 6 months of 2025 will reach 42,414 million kWh, reaching nearly 97% of the total plan assigned by the Group. The plant is expected to reach 6,059 million kWh in the first 6 months of 2025. Along with that, the plant has also completed economic and technical indicators on electricity consumption rate, incident rate, heat loss rate, coal purchase management, coal import, and construction investment.
In the second term (2025-2030), the factory Party Committee unanimously approved that over 85% of Party cells have completed their tasks well or better, of which the maximum rate of excellent task completion is prescribed; over 90% of Party members have completed their tasks well (over 10% of Party members have completed their tasks excellently); strive to admit over 35 Party members. Every year, socio-political organizations complete their tasks well.
Speaking at the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group Nguyen Huu Tuan highly appreciated the Party building work, the leadership of mass organizations in the political system of the Party Committee of the Factory which has been focused on, the efficiency has been improved, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee have been consolidated. Under the close leadership of the Party Committee, the factory has successfully completed its political tasks; produced safe electricity output to meet the electricity demand of the system, especially in the peak months of the dry season, contributing to ensuring national energy security, focusing on environmental protection. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of EVN Nguyen Huu Tuan directed that in the coming term, the Party Committee of the factory will continue to identify Party building work as an important task of key significance for the factory to complete its assigned tasks; produce electricity safely and effectively, striving to complete the annual targets assigned by EVN.
The Congress elected 7 comrades to the Party Executive Committee for the 2nd term, 2025-2030; elected Mr. Vu Thanh Hai, Factory Director as Party Secretary; elected a delegation of 4 comrades to attend the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group.
