The report comprehensively assessed the leadership results, Party building work and implementation of political tasks during the past term, thereby determining the goals, tasks and solutions of the Company's Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

During the past term, the world and domestic situation has undergone many major changes, deeply affecting all aspects of social life. The Company's Party Committee has remained steadfast in leading and directing the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws. Under the close and comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee of Power Generation Corporation 1, the Party Committee has completed and exceeded 12/15 targets set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

The Company has completed key tasks according to the set plan: Stable operation of generators to meet technical and economic indicators; improve production and business efficiency; ensure supply of materials and fuel for production. The Company was commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for leading the emulation movement to reduce incidents, ensuring readiness to generate electricity for coal-fired thermal power plants in the dry season of 2023-2024. In addition, the Corporation recognized 122 initiatives with scientific and technological solutions that contributed to improving the availability of generators and reducing production and business costs. During the term, the Company's Party Committee admitted 29 new party members, exceeding the set target by 45% (the target was 20 party members). The Party Committee was recognized for completing its tasks well or better for 5 consecutive years, all affiliated party cells completed their tasks or better, over 95% of cadres, party members and employees completed their tasks well or better.

The work of Party organization and building has also recorded practical innovations. The leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees at all levels have been constantly improved. The work of organizing cadres has been focused on, implemented in accordance with principles, procedures, and regulations, and has brought about positive results. Notably, there have been no cases of Party organizations having to implement discipline during the entire term. The work of fighting against corruption, negativity, and waste has been focused on. Mass mobilization work and the role of organizations and unions have been effectively promoted, demonstrating good responsibility to the community, actively contributing to the implementation of the unit's political tasks.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Huan, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Member of the Board of Members of the Corporation delivered a speech at the Congress.

Promoting the achieved results and lessons learned from the past term, the Company's Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term will continue to strengthen Party building and rectification, aiming to build a clean and strong Party Committee in all aspects; continue to restructure, innovate, and improve production and business efficiency on the basis of promoting the application of science and technology, while leading and directing the unit to operate the units safely and stably and promoting environmental protection measures.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Manh Huan, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Member of the Board of Members of the Corporation, highly appreciated the efforts in preparing for the Congress of the Nghi Son Thermal Power Company Party Committee. He also acknowledged and commended the results and achievements achieved in the past term. At the same time, he directed a number of important contents to be added to the new term's resolution, requesting the Congress to focus on seriously discussing the achieved results, the tasks and solutions stated in the political report to build a complete and comprehensive Congress Resolution for the 2025 - 2030 term. He also emphasized that the Company's Party Committee needs to continue to affirm the spirit of solidarity and unity in the entire Party Committee, comprehensively leading cadres and party members to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, contributing to the completion of the goals of the Resolution of the Party Congress of Power Generation Corporation 1, term 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Vo Manh Ha, Party Secretary and Director of the Company, was elected to continue to hold the position of Party Secretary of Nghi Son Thermal Power Company for the 2025-2030 term, with 100% of the votes. The Congress also elected a delegation of 15 official comrades and 2 alternate comrades to attend the 28th Party Congress of Power Generation Corporation 1, term 2025-2030.
