PARTY CONGRESS OF SONG BA HA HYDROELECTRICITY JOINT STOCK COMPANY TERM 2025-2030: Mr. Vu Huu Phuc continues to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary for the term 2025-2030

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors (BOD), General Director of Power Generation Corporation 2; Tran Ly, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Committee's Organization Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of Power Generation Corporation 2, together with representatives of the advisory and support departments of the Party Committee, the Planning Department and the Office of the Corporation attended and directed the congress. On the side of the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company (SBH), there were Mr. Vu Huu Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Board of Directors; member of the Party Executive Committee and 56 party members in the Party Committee.

At the congress, delegates listened to the political report and review report of the Party Executive Committee of the company for the 2020-2025 term. During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company has proactively deployed, disseminated and strictly implemented the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the higher-level Party Committee. At the same time, the Party Committee of the company has closely followed the congress resolution, updated the instructions of the higher-level Party Committees, developed action programs, led and organized the implementation of good leadership and direction for cadres, party members and employees to excellently and comprehensively complete the assigned professional and political tasks.

Promoting the results achieved in the past term, the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company sets the following goals for the next term: Building a clean and strong Party Committee in all aspects; contributing with Power Generation Corporation 2 to ensure safe, continuous and stable electricity supply for the economy and people's lives; streamlining the organization and apparatus in conjunction with developing high-quality human resources to improve operational efficiency; continuing to promote savings and combat waste; promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation and innovation; increasing investment in building power sources to meet the planning.

Regarding Party building work, the Party Committee has completed 100% (5/5) of the targets set by the congress for the 2020-2025 term. During the past term, the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company achieved many outstanding achievements, being a Party Committee that completed its tasks well (in 2022 and 2023, it completed its tasks excellently); 100% of Party members completed their tasks well.

Regarding production and business activities, the Party Committee of the Company has led the management and operation of the Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant safely, stably and effectively. Electricity production has achieved and exceeded the assigned targets, the output in the period of 2020-2024 is 3,631.94 million kWh, reaching 114.32% of the plan, completing and exceeding the annual state budget payment target.

In addition to the achieved results, the review report of the Party Executive Committee frankly pointed out the shortcomings, limitations, subjective and objective causes, lessons learned and proposed solutions to overcome them.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Power Generation Corporation 2 highly appreciated the thoughtful and serious preparation of the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company; commended and congratulated the efforts and outstanding results that the Party Committee of the company achieved in the past term. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, discipline, innovation and creativity in leadership, direction and organization to successfully implement the goals and tasks in the coming term.

On behalf of the Congress Presidium, Mr. Vu Huu Phuc thanked and accepted Mr. Nguyen Huu Thinh's speech, direction and assignment of tasks and hoped to continue to receive his attention, leadership and direction so that the Company's Party Committee can successfully complete its tasks in the next term.

Promoting the spirit of democracy and responsibility, the congress elected the 4th Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. With high consensus, the congress elected the Party Executive Committee of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 6 people. These are people who ensure sufficient qualifications, political theory level, capacity and prestige to lead and comprehensively direct all aspects of the company's Party activities. Mr. Vu Huu Phuc, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors continued to be elected as Party Secretary of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company for the 2025-2030 term. The congress also elected a delegation to attend the Party Congress of Power Generation Corporation 2 for the 2025-2030 term, including 10 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate. On behalf of the new term Party Executive Committee, Mr. Vu Huu Phuc thanked the congress for its trust and will strive to successfully implement the congress's resolutions, build a strong Party organization, and lead the company to excellently complete assigned tasks.
