Congress of Delegates of the Fatherland Front of Yen Khanh district, term 2024-2029

On May 23, at the Yen Khanh District Cultural Center, the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Yen Khanh District for the 2024-2029 term took place.

Attending the Congress were leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Standing members of the District Party Committee, former Standing members of the Yen Khanh District Party Committee through the periods and 189 delegates representing the great national unity bloc in the district.

During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations in Yen Khanh district have constantly innovated the content and methods of operation, focusing on and strongly orienting the grassroots, especially residential areas, promptly grasping the people's situation and synthesizing the people's legitimate opinions and recommendations, reporting to Party committees at all levels, authorities and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Actively propagate and mobilize union members, association members and people of all walks of life to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the Resolutions of the District Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee.

Promote democracy, strengthen social consensus for the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, and civilization. The great national unity and religious unity are constantly consolidated and promoted.

Campaigns and patriotic emulation movements are increasingly widespread, focusing on the campaigns "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" associated with the emulation movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas".

By 2023, the district will have 10 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 2 model new rural communes, 186 model new rural residential areas, and the district will meet advanced new rural standards.

Over the past 5 years, the whole district has mobilized to build the "Repaying gratitude and social security" Fund with over 8 billion VND, supporting the construction of 89 new houses and repairing 48 solidarity houses.

Besides, the work of social supervision and criticism, participation in Party building and government building has many innovations and creativity, becoming increasingly systematic and effective.

The activities of the Residential Area Front Committees have been increasingly improved, and the routine of activities has been maintained. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the district has had many programs and plans to coordinate actions with all levels, sectors, and member organizations, creating solidarity and unity, contributing to the successful implementation of the district's socio-economic goals.

With the spirit of "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Development", in the 2024-2029 term, the Congress has proposed 6 action programs and 2 breakthroughs to implement in the new term.

In which, 100% of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels strive to effectively and practically implement emulation movements and campaigns chaired and launched by the Front.

Every year, 100% of residential areas organize the "National Great Unity Day in Residential Areas" with both the ceremony and the festival. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district annually presides over the organization of at least 2 monitoring sessions, 1 feedback conference or 1 dialogue; the commune level annually presides over the organization of at least 1 monitoring session, dialogue and 1 social feedback conference.

Every year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels effectively implement at least two "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models.

100% of the Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the district signed and well implemented the coordination regulations with the People's Council, People's Committee at the same level and related sectors. Well performed the functions of the Fatherland Front in participating in Party building, government building...

Congress of Delegates of the Fatherland Front of Yen Khanh district, term 2024-2029 — Delegates take photos with members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Khanh district for the 2024-2029 term.

The Congress unanimously agreed to elect 68 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district for the 2024-2029 term; the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district consisted of 4 members, including Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong, Deputy Head of the District Party Committee's Organization Board, to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Khanh district for the 2024-2029 term.

The Congress also conducted consultations to elect 23 official delegates to attend the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

On this occasion, 10 collectives and 20 individuals were commended and rewarded by the People's Committee of Yen Khanh district for their outstanding achievements in the work of the Front for the 2019-2024 term.
