On the afternoon of December 30, at Conference Center 25B, the Thanh Hoa Province Timber and Forest Products Association held the 2nd Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term.

Thanh Hoa Timber and Forestry Association is a professional social organization, a gathering place for organizations and individuals involved in the forestry sector, such as: Forestry, production, processing and import-export of forest products. Up to now, the association has attracted 328 members, operating in 63 branches.

In the 2019-2024 term, the association has promoted propaganda and dissemination to help members understand and grasp the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws on building and developing the Timber and Forest Products Association; coordinated with the Provincial Forest Protection Department in the fields of afforestation, exploitation and processing of forest products. Association members have actively coordinated with forest planting households and protective forest management boards to build production and consumption chains of timber and forest products; provided information, markets, and prices so that members can have stable production and business plans and achieve high economic efficiency. Many grassroots associations have cooperated and supported each other in terms of capital, scientific and technical advances, and new technologies in production and business, etc.
