On June 14 and 15, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hong Duc University solemnly held the 11th Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2027.

In the 2022-2024 term, the Youth Union and youth movement of Hong Duc University have continuously developed in all aspects. During the term, propaganda and education work has had many innovations in content and form, contributing to orienting ideals, fostering trust, raising awareness and responsibility of the school's youth in the cause of building and defending the homeland and the country, and building Hong Duc University to become increasingly strong. The work of consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots Youth Union organizations has been focused on with many practical solutions. Currently, Hong Duc University Youth Union has 135 Youth Union branches for cadres, teachers and students operating in 12 inter-branch branches and 3 affiliated branches, with a total of more than 6,000 Youth Union members.

Along with the above activities, the “Youth Volunteer” movement has developed in both breadth and depth. The scale and types of volunteering have been diversified, attracting a large number of young people to participate. During the term, the School Youth Union organized over 150 volunteer activities, attracting over 5,000 youth union members to participate, in which the Union registered and implemented the construction of 2 school-level youth projects worth over 100 million VND, creating a highlight on the school campus. In particular, the School Youth Union's Student Volunteer Team with over 200 team members and 12 student volunteer teams at the Youth Union branches, regularly inspects and manages study discipline, ready to take the lead on volunteer, cultural, artistic, sports and student movements fronts...
Scientific research activities in the Youth Union are focused on, contributing to improving the professional qualifications, skills and expertise of the Youth Union. The programs "Accompanying young people in studying and scientific research", "Accompanying young people in starting a business", "Accompanying young people in developing social practice skills, physical health, and spiritual life"... are also widely implemented and bring positive results.

With the slogan of action "Aspiration, pioneering, solidarity, courage, creativity", at the Congress, delegates discussed and agreed on the targets and contents to be implemented in the 2024-2027 term, such as: Each school year, the School Youth Union organizes at least 2 activities to accompany union members and students in starting a business and establishing a career; at least 10 union members are cadres and lecturers studying for doctoral degrees; each school year, at least 4% of union members and students have excellent academic performance, 65% have good and excellent academic performance, and 90% of union members are classified as good or above. During the term, at least 1,000 union members participated in Party awareness training classes, of which at least 300 outstanding union members were admitted to the Party...
