The Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy officially approved the plan for regular university enrollment in 2025 and tuition fees. According to this plan, the highest tuition fee for Dentistry is 84.7 million VND; followed by Medicine at 82.2 million VND/year; Pharmacy at 60.5 million VND/year. The tuition fees for Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry are 50 million VND/year.

Industries with the same income of 46 million VND/year include: Nursing, Nursing specializing in anesthesia and resuscitation, Midwifery, Nutrition, Dental prosthetics, Medical testing techniques, Medical imaging techniques, Rehabilitation techniques, Public health.

Social Work has the lowest tuition fee at 30 million VND/year, and is a new major opened this year.

Regarding admission, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy enrolls students according to the following methods: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; combining the results of the high school graduation exam with international certificates for admission; direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering candidates for university preparatory programs.

In the method of combining high school graduation exam results with international certificates, the school will consider admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Candidates with international certificates will receive additional points according to school regulations.

Medical indicators

Regarding the admission combination, the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine consider the combination B00 (Math - Chemistry - Biology); Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition and engineering majors consider the combination B00 (Math - Chemistry - Biology) and A00 (Math - Physics - Chemistry).

The first training program for Social Work will have 4 admission combinations: A00 (Math - Physics - Chemistry); B00 (Math - Chemistry - Biology); B03 (Math - Biology - Literature); B08 (Math - Biology - English). But from 2026, the school will not consider the A00 combination for this program.
