Notably, this year, Phenikaa University is the only representative of Vietnam nominated, and is also the youngest university on the nomination list for both of the most important categories: Technological or Digital Innovation of the Year; Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year.
Affirming internal strength and strategic vision in digital transformation and teaching innovation
In the category of “Technology or Digital Innovation of the Year”, Phenikaa University was highly appreciated for its comprehensive digital platform development in administration, enrollment, training, research, human resources and student services. It is noteworthy that the University autonomously built the entire internal technology system from AZ, including ERP administration, smart security gate (Smart Gate), digital learning platform and cashless payment system - affirming the “in house” strategy, one of the key factors highly appreciated by the Jury.
With the number of students enrolled and the training scale increasing more than 20 times in just 5 years (from more than 300 students in 2019 to nearly 25,000 students in 2024), the University's digital system is constantly being innovated to ensure fairness and efficiency in the management process. In 2024 alone, 99% of nearly 9,000 new students gave positive feedback about the online admission experience.
For the category "Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year", Phenikaa University has transformed from traditional teaching methods to interdisciplinary integrated module learning, helping students develop systematic thinking and the ability to apply practical knowledge, especially in the field of health sciences. With the model of "learning by doing", Phenikaa University of Medicine and Pharmacy students have access to practical experience right from the first year at the hospital system, satellite clinics and pharmaceutical factories.
In addition, from December 2024, Phenikaa University Hospital will officially come into operation. In addition to medical examination and treatment, it will also become an important place for practice and internship - one of the outstanding advantages of students majoring in Health Sciences.
