TPO - The National Economics University has just announced its 2025 admissions plan. Accordingly, the university will open two new majors, while the basic admission methods will remain stable.

According to an announcement from the National Economics University, in 2025, they plan to enroll students in 73 majors/programs with 89 training programs. Among these, two new programs are expected: Labor Relations and International Commercial Law. The total enrollment quota and the percentage of quotas for each admission method will be announced later.

The school admits students through three methods: direct admission, admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined admission.

Regarding the entrance threshold, for the admission method based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results, the expected threshold is 20 points, including priority points.

The National Economics University will announce specific details after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam are available. For the combined admission method, the entrance threshold is the application requirement for each category within each combined admission group.

The National Economics University notes that it does not conduct preliminary selections and does not apply any additional criteria in the admissions process beyond those stipulated in the Admissions Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the National Economics University.

Candidates should note that they need to update their information whenever there are changes, adjustments, or revisions to this plan and the admission guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regarding the admissions process, the National Economics University will conduct admissions according to the Ministry of Education and Training's general admissions plan for 2025, with online admissions being the method of application.

Applicants can submit applications through all methods and under all categories if they meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants can register an unlimited number of preferences based on the school's program/major code and must rank them in order of priority from highest to lowest (preference 1 being the highest priority). Applicants will only be admitted to one of their preferred programs.

The National Economics University considers applications (for each candidate) based on the priority level from highest to lowest in the registered preferences. If a candidate is accepted into a higher-priority preference, they will not be considered for preferences with subsequent priority levels.

The university selects candidates based on their major/program code, taking scores from highest to lowest until all slots are filled, regardless of the order of their preferences.

An IELTS score of 7.5 - 9.0 is equivalent to 10 points.

For the combined admission method, international English language certificates are converted into points.

Specifically, as follows:

Admission scores are based on a 30-point scale and rounded to two decimal places.

The National Economics University does not use the results of exemptions from the foreign language exam, does not use exam scores retained from previous high school graduation exams or national high school exams for admission, and does not add priority points for candidates with vocational certificates.

Please note that candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for admission/early admission/combined admission must register their preferences on the system during the first admission round according to the Ministry's announcement/admission plan.

To be considered for graduation, students must meet the following specific foreign language proficiency requirements:
