At the meeting, Vice Principal Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Duc Tru - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Business and Technology Magazine, Head of Hanoi Business and Technology Newsletter, on behalf of the Editorial Board, reported on the organization and operation of the units: Business and Technology Magazine, Hanoi Business and Technology Newsletter, Party Work Newsletter, and Media Center.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, the Journal of Business and Technology published 10 issues, 4 more than the previous academic year, including 3 issues in English; Lecturers, researchers, graduate students, and students in the school contributed 72.5% of the total number of articles published in the journal. The structure of the articles in the journal approached the required template of journals around the world and the requirements of the State Council of Professors. The quality of the articles and the editing of the journal articles have improved compared to before, making it a "serious" journal, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Press Law.
Regarding communication work, last school year, communication contributed to promoting and informing about the school's activities, which were recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training; helping the community understand more about the school's activities. Identifying this as a type of non-public school operating not for profit; contributing to improving the school's training quality through cooperation between the communication center and units in the school on information, quality, and training results of the units on mass media (printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, magazines, television, radio, etc.); It has really been effective in communicating and promoting the school to high schools (especially grade 12 students). Bringing information about the school's authenticity, reputation, and brand to parents and students, so that they have more confidence in the school's training quality.
Therefore, the enrollment of regular university, graduate, part-time and joint programs is increasingly effective, the number of students enrolling in the school is increasing; Raising awareness and service quality for students and trainees studying at the school, communicating about the school through distributing leaflets, newspapers, newsletters, magazines to all classes of students and trainees in a timely and effective manner; promptly informing about conferences, seminars, and meetings introducing jobs for students to businesses.

Hanoi Business and Technology Newsletter (HN Business and Technology Newsletter) operates under Decision No. 24/GP-XBBT dated April 14, 2023 of the Ministry of Information and Communications on publishing and issuing periodic issues and prescribed topics. Each issue of the Newsletter is sent to the Board of Directors, units, students, and trainees of all classes and majors of the School.
From June 2022 to present, the Editorial Board of the KD&CNHN Newsletter has published and released 09 issues of the newsletter with the above contents and 02 special issues: Special issue for Tet Quy Mao 2023, Special issue for the Trade Union (serving the 5th Congress of the School Trade Union, term 2018 - 2023), 100% of the articles and news are provided by officers, lecturers, staff, students and trainees in the School.

Under the direction of the Party Committee's leaders, the Party Work Newsletter of the Party Committee of the University officially published its first edition in September 2020. The Party Work Newsletter of the Party Committee of Hanoi University of Business and Technology is the only publication published regularly every month by a grassroots Party Committee nationwide.
From September 2020 to June 2023, the Party Work Newsletter has: Published: 28 issues; Number of articles: 420; The publication has standard quality and form according to the Party's document practices, is beautiful, and brings positive emotions to Party members and readers. The published content has a focus, the topic of each issue is clear, strictly adheres to the principles of organizing information in Party activities, and serves well the leadership and direction of Party cell activities. The content in the Newsletter is part of the information system authorized by the Central Secretariat and the Central Propaganda Department.

The Permanent Vice President expressed: Through the process of construction and development, up to now, the press and media sector has become units with quality and prestige. Articles published in Magazines, Newsletters, Party Work Newsletters, Website: hubt.edu.vn always receive high appreciation from readers. For cadres working in press and media, there are always 4 factors: Propaganda, Explanation, Dissemination and Development.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep - Vice Rector said that the Board of Directors highly appreciated and commended the efforts of generations of leaders and the Editorial Board working for the Business and Technology Magazine, the Media Center, the Business and Technology Newsletter, and the Party Newsletter during the process of building and developing the Hanoi University of Business and Technology.
The Vice President expressed his hope and belief that the Editorial Board of the press units will continue to update news and events of the units in a timely manner..., and in the near future, the Permanent Vice President hopes to establish a Journalists Association at the Hanoi University of Business and Technology to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's revolutionary press day.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Do Trong Thieu - Permanent Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Business and Technology Magazine affirmed the particularly important role of the Magazine in the training career of the School, as a forum to officially announce and communicate scientific research results, exchange teaching and scientific research experiences of teaching and research staff inside and outside the School. The Magazine was included by the State Council of Professors as the School's scientific magazine in the list of magazines with a scientific score of 0.25 in the two fields of Language and Economics.
