UEH President, Professor Su Dinh Thanh said, "The collaboration between UEH and NTU Singapore combines the expertise of the two universities to promote global knowledge exchange, develop leadership and nurture talents to contribute to the economic growth of both countries. This collaborative program will bring comprehensive learning experiences to the institute. With the participation of lecturers from both universities, the program combines global thinking with a deep understanding of the local context in Vietnam."

At UEH, the program is operated by the Institute of Business Research - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the Faculty of Management - UEH Business School in Vietnam.

The IMBA’s interdisciplinary curriculum places a strong emphasis on technology and innovation. The program aims to provide students with a solid foundation in business principles while ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current and future technologies and innovations.

Typically, the course “Technology and Innovation Strategy” will introduce cutting-edge technological advances, including machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), cyber-physical systems, and horizontal and vertical integration.

This enables learners to grasp the potential impact of these advances on business and encourages innovative thinking to boost productivity, improve efficiency and enhance their business competitiveness.

In addition, as a leading business school affiliated with a prestigious university of technology, Nanyang Business School is the perfect choice to launch the NTU-UEH International MBA program.

Professor Christina Soh, Dean of NTU Singapore’s Nanyang Business School, said the programme’s comprehensive modules, designed to address distinct aspects of business and management, will equip aspiring leaders with the adaptability and foresight needed to thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape. UEH’s faculty has in-depth understanding and practical experience of the local business environment in Vietnam, including cultural, economic and political perspectives.

“To enrich the programme, NTU faculty will contribute evidence-based knowledge and global insights. Through this collaborative programme, we achieve a harmonious balance between locally-specific action and globally-scale thinking.”

The language of instruction for the program will be English. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or educational institution and at least two years of full-time work experience. In addition, applicants will undergo an assessment of their cognitive abilities and analytical skills. This process will assess the applicant’s ability to fit into the program and their potential to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.
