Fulbright University Vietnam awards scholarships of up to 100% tuition to candidates admitted to the school for the 2024-2028 term, with excellent academic results and meaningful contributions to the community.
How to apply for Fulbright scholarship
All applications for admission and scholarships will be considered. Each scholarship has its own selection criteria and conditions.
How to apply for 7 types of Fulbright scholarships that will be awarded to future students of the 2024-2028 class, specifically:
* 65 Class of 2028 Fulbright University Scholarships
The Class of 2028 Fulbright University Scholarship program introduced in 2023 is a continuation of the scholarship of the same name that began 2 years ago.
In addition to the financial aid program, Fulbright University Vietnam will award 65 Fulbright University Scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements, talent, and meaningful contributions to the community, regardless of financial need or nationality.
The Class of 2028 Fulbright University Scholarship will award three types of scholarships:
- The President Scholarship covers 80% or 100% of the annual tuition fee at Fulbright University Vietnam and is renewable for all four years of study at Fulbright.
- The Dean Scholarship covers 30% or 50% of the annual tuition fee at Fulbright University Vietnam and is renewable for all four years of study at Fulbright.
- The Honors Scholarship is awarded once with a value of 8,000 USD (187,040,000 VND) and will be deducted from the tuition of the first year of study at Fulbright.
Candidates will be evaluated based on outstanding academic achievements and significant contributions to community activities through application rounds, scholarship applications and interviews.
* Nguyen-Phuong Family Scholarship: covers up to 4 years of tuition for one student. Candidates must have the ability to create positive change.
* Nguyen Tung Lam Teacher Scholarship: one scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees each year for 4 years of study. Candidates wishing to study psychology, have excellent academic achievements in high school and come from difficult economic circumstances.
* Bright Futures Scholarship: for candidates who have been or are being severely affected by the war in Vietnam or elsewhere. The scholarship covers dormitory fees and 30 million VND per year for living expenses.
* Wheel Cards Scholarship: for students with physical or mental disabilities, worth VND 467,600,000 for 4 years of study.
* Vietcombank - Fulbright Annual Scholarship : worth 60 million VND for living expenses in the first two years. Scholarship is automatically reviewed.
* Christina Noble - Fulbright Scholarship : worth 120 million VND for living expenses for 4 years. Scholarship is automatically considered.
Admission requirements at Fulbright
Fulbright University Vietnam said Fulbright does not evaluate candidates solely through scores.
Through a comprehensive admissions process, the school seeks to understand who candidates are, what they care about, and how they grow through their experiences.
A representative of Fulbright University Vietnam said: "We are looking for individuals with academic ability and one of the following qualities: eager to learn: thirst for knowledge; willing to listen to new ideas, diverse perspectives; able to accept strong and convincing arguments.

Spring Admissions
Fulbright University Vietnam closes admission applications on April 1.
Scholarship and financial aid applications close April 8.
Early decision notification (for applicants who did not apply for financial aid): May 2024.
Announcement of results for regular applications (for applicants applying for financial aid): June 2024.
