National Assembly deputies meet voters before the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly

* On the morning of April 21, in Lap Thach district, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a meeting with voters before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the conference on behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation were comrades: Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc Province; Nguyen Van Manh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc Province.

At the conference, the National Assembly Delegation informed the voters of Lap Thach district about the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The session is expected to be held in 2 phases, phase 1 from May 5 to 28; phase 2 from June 11 to 28, meeting at the National Assembly House.

At this session, the National Assembly is expected to consider and pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws and consider and decide on many other important issues to serve the work of restructuring and organizing the apparatus, developing the socio-economy and developing the country.

In the spirit of democracy, voters of Lap Thach district sent to National Assembly delegates 9 opinions with 13 contents related to many important issues.

At the meeting with voters, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong answered and clarified the issues proposed by voters, including macro-level issues such as: Solutions of the National Assembly and the Government to handle the situation affected by global trade tensions; solutions to promote sustainable economic growth; handling administrative procedures, granting construction permits, changing land use purposes when rearranging the apparatus; studying and expanding social security policies for the elderly; repairing the Pho Day river dyke to ensure traffic safety; resettlement work when the State reclaims land for large projects being implemented in Lap Thach district; repairing and dredging dams to ensure irrigation water sources for agricultural production; food business management and sanctions for handling food hygiene and safety, protecting people's health; management of extra teaching and learning; Support mechanism for people to install clean water pipes to households; handle redundant headquarters of agencies when arranging administrative units, avoid waste...

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son also emphasized the country's key tasks in 2025, focusing on restructuring the apparatus, innovating science and technology, and opening up to international integration to contribute to realizing the aspirations of the country's development goals in the new era, the era of national growth.

Acknowledging and accepting the opinions and recommendations of Lap Thach district voters sent to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong affirmed that the opinions and recommendations of voters are very clear, of high quality, legitimate and accurate.

Regarding the group of questions under the jurisdiction of the provincial level, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong affirmed that he will direct the provincial agencies, departments and branches to thoroughly and satisfactorily resolve each petition and reflection of voters according to their authority.

He assigned the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and Lap Thach District People's Committee with the highest sense of responsibility to review and fundamentally resolve people's recommendations on resettlement for major projects; invest in renovating Pho Day River dike; renovate and dredge water bodies to serve production on the basis of balancing the province's investment resources.

As Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong emphasized that he will listen, absorb and convey to central agencies to resolve voters' opinions and recommendations that exceed the province's authority.

Analyzing and clarifying the requirements arising from practice when not organizing at the district level, the effectiveness of strengthening decentralization, delegation of power, and delegation of responsibility; resolving bottlenecks in administrative procedures for people and businesses; creatively and flexibly applying the Central's directives into practice, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong emphasized that the arrangement of administrative units is a revolution, a historical change in which the people are the ones who decide success or failure.

For the merger process to take place smoothly and successfully, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong hopes that Lap Thach voters in particular and Vinh Phuc people in general will continue to support, thereby contributing to realizing the development goals of the homeland and country in the new era, the era of national growth.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Manh requested relevant units to respond and resolve voters’ opinions and recommendations within their authority.
