National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies met with voters of Tan Ky district after the 7th session of the National Assembly and the 21st session of the Provincial People's Council.

On the morning of July 19, in Tan Ky district, comrade Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, together with National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies, met with voters of Ky Tan commune after the 7th session of the National Assembly and the 21st session of the Provincial People's Council. Also attending the meeting were National Assembly deputies: Thai Van Thanh, Director of the Department of Education and Training; Vi Van Son, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; Ms. Le Thi Theu, Provincial People's Council deputy in Tan Ky district.

Conference overview.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council informed voters of the results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the 21st Session of the Provincial People's Council. After 27.5 working days, with the spirit of solidarity, democracy, proactiveness, urgency and high responsibility, the 7th Session of the National Assembly completed the entire agenda. At the session, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation actively, fully and responsibly participated in the sessions according to the agenda; actively studied and contributed many quality opinions at the discussion sessions.

There were many quality comments on the supplementary assessment report on the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2023; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2024 of the Government and important Law projects with great impacts on the socio-economy, which are of interest to voters and the people. Notably, at the session, the National Assembly passed Resolution No. 137 on piloting the addition of a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province. At the 21st session - the regular mid-year session, the Provincial People's Council passed 26 Resolutions.

At the meeting, voters petitioned the National Assembly, the Government, and central and local authorities to consider and resolve a number of issues that Ky Tan commune residents are concerned about in the following areas: transportation, resources, environment, construction, health, culture, education, support policies for the poor, meritorious people, etc. These are issues related to the marking of the expansion planning; the work of land clearance and recovery in the Ho Chi Minh road corridor passing through the commune. This management process has been prolonged and has been adjusted many times, causing many problems, affecting the rights of the people.

Voters also suggested that there should be separate, specific policies for localities in the midlands and mountainous areas, and even decentralization to the People's Committees at the district and commune levels to be allowed to resolve within the appropriate scope of management to remove difficulties in land management and land resources to serve the leveling of land when constructing projects, to remove difficulties for people when they need land to level houses, renovate family gardens... Some roads under the management of the district passing through Ky Tan commune are currently degraded and damaged, and it is recommended that all levels pay attention and invest in upgrading. In addition, voters also reflected the situation of markets being invested in but not being effective; policies for cadres who have many years of working at the grassroots level...

On behalf of the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council delegates, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy briefly informed about the situation of the country and the province in the first 6 months of 2024. Regarding Ky Tan commune, the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his joy that in the first 6 months of the year, the Party Committee, the government and the people are striving to implement the criteria, striving to achieve the standards of an advanced new rural commune by the end of 2024. Regarding the voters' reflections and recommendations, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy directly responded to a number of contents within his authority. Regarding a number of other contents, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Council requested the responsible agencies to absorb, synthesize and reflect to relevant agencies and units to thoroughly respond to the voters.
