Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in Ham Yen

Comrade Nguyen Van Dung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, met with voters of 4 communes of Binh Xa, Minh Huong, Thai Son, and Thanh Long.

Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, met with voters from the three communes of Thai Hoa, Duc Ninh, and Hung Duc. Also attending were leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Committee, and People's Council of Ham Yen district.

Currently, there are 78 resolutions issued by the People's Council that are still in effect, including: 38 resolutions on the economic sector; 28 resolutions on culture and society; 12 resolutions on national defense and security. Accordingly, many resolutions have been and are effectively supporting the socio-economic development of the province such as: Resolution 03 on policies to support agriculture and forestry; Resolution 09 in 2020 on supporting the solidification of canals; Resolution 55 approving the project on rural concrete roads and building bridges on rural roads... Through contact with voters, the Provincial People's Council will review the resolutions issued during the term to assess the effectiveness and limitations of the mechanisms and policies, thereby editing and supplementing them to suit the reality to promote socio-economic development.

Voters of Ham Yen district had 61 opinions and recommendations to the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including the request to repair 2 landslide sections of National Highway 2 through Yen Phu commune, request Song Lo 7 Hydropower Plant to compensate for damages to people in Yen Phu commune when releasing floodwaters; have solutions to overcome landslides in Tan Quang residential group, slow construction of the Dong Bang residential group road, Tan Yen town, site clearance for Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway; slow investment in rural markets; limited issuance of land use right certificates for individuals and households; difficulties in verifying land origin; requesting the State to continue investing in inter-village roads in Yen Phu, Minh Khuong, Yen Thuan, Yen Lam communes, etc.

Voters of Yen Phu commune made recommendations at the meeting with the Provincial People's Council Delegation.

Speaking to voters of communes, the provincial People's Council delegates thanked voters for their many contributions and recommendations on the effectiveness as well as limitations of the Provincial People's Council Resolutions that have been issued and are being implemented in localities in the district. Regarding issues within their authority, the provincial People's Council delegates will receive and summarize them for submission to the provincial People's Council at the next session, especially the difficulties, problems and limitations of the resolutions issued by the provincial People's Council. Regarding issues at all levels and sectors, the provincial People's Council delegates will urge and forward them to all levels and sectors in the province and district for timely consideration and resolution.
