Delegates of the Provincial People's Council and Dong Ha City People's Council met with voters in localities.

Today, January 10, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Secretary of the Dong Ha City Party Committee Le Quang Chien and delegates of the Provincial People's Council and delegates of the Dong Ha City People's Council continued to meet voters after the regular meeting at the end of 2023 in Ward 4 and Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City.

Ward 4 voters reflected that the drug crime situation in the area in particular and Dong Ha City in general has an increasing trend and is becoming more complicated. In addition, the urban infrastructure system in some neighborhoods of Ward 4 has not been invested in synchronously.

Voters in Dong Luong Ward reported that the state management of land in the area is ineffective and overlapping, affecting the lives and production of the people. Although newly invested in asphalt, many sections of Pham Hong Thai Street have been damaged and seriously degraded, with many large potholes on the road surface, causing unsafety for traffic participants.

Some roads in Dong Luong ward do not have a drainage system and are often flooded when it rains. Voters also reported that there is a slaughterhouse in the area that was built a long time ago, but the infrastructure has degraded and is causing environmental pollution. The city needs to direct inspection, review and handling.

Voters of the wards recommend that the government and functional agencies pay attention to solving the above issues.

At the meetings, the leaders of Dong Ha City and the wards received and explained the voters' recommendations according to their authority. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang requested the leaders of Dong Ha City and the wards to promptly consider and handle the voters' legitimate recommendations, especially in the field of land management.

For issues under the provincial authority, the provincial People's Council delegates will receive, study, and consider them to direct solutions in the coming time.
