(GLO)- Nature has blessed the Northern Central Highlands with an extremely fresh atmosphere. While many places on the S-shaped strip of land are experiencing a “fiery summer”, the plateau is like a giant cooling machine. Summer in the plateau is also the season of cloud and dew hunting for many young people who love to travel.

Summer in the highlands is also the season when nature brings about amazing landscapes in the misty clouds. There are summer mornings when the city seems to be wearing a blue coat in the slowly dissipating mist.

Further out in the outskirts of Peiku Mountain Town (Gia Lai Province), the mist seems to be sleeping on the hundred-year-old tea fields. The mist blurs the “jade eyes” of Bien Ho Lake. The mist penetrates deep under the old pine trees, making the whole forest immersed in an illusory color. The morning mist suddenly covers the skin, making us feel like we need an extra scarf or a thin shirt.

The plateau is not only a magical place in the morning mist but also a place to hunt clouds with wonderful moments. Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, a freelance photographer, said that when he is out of ideas for his work, he often wanders aimlessly, but always "finds something" from nature.

“In the middle of summer, wherever you go in the North Central Highlands, you will be amazed by the cool weather and the beautiful scenery, especially during this cloud hunting season. Riding a motorbike on the road from Gia Lai to Kon Tum, everywhere there are cloud-watching spots that make people want to slow down. The floating, illusory nature also makes the soul more relaxed, all emotions are balanced. That is also the way I recharge my energy for work. Gia Lai tourism can exploit this feature to create a vacation tour in the middle of summer”- Mr. Viet shared.

The aimless trips also helped Hoang Quoc Viet capture many moments of the highland hills in the cloudy season. On the mountains of the majestic Truong Son range, from Chu Dang Ya volcano, through the "roof" of Chu Nam (Gia Lai province) to Ngoc Linh peak (Kon Tum province), summer is like a paradise in the middle of the mountains of the Northern Central Highlands.
