My Duc specialties converge at the event promoting Huong Pagoda tourism

The event was organized by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (HPA) in coordination with the People's Committee of My Duc district, taking place at Yen Vi Stadium, Huong Son commune, My Duc district.

The fair attracted 120 enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP entities from 22 provinces/cities and localities to display and introduce products such as Ninh Binh, Cao Bang, Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Hung Yen, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Bac Giang , Lam Dong, Nghe An, Dac Nong, Vinh Phuc, Thai Binh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ha Giang, Son La.

Participating in the fair, businesses will display and introduce 1,000 product lines including agricultural products, food, beverages, fish sauce, tea, vegetables, fresh fruits, dried fruits, honey, milk and dairy products, handicraft products, OCOP products, etc. On the sidelines of the fair, there will be activities to display, promote, introduce, trade, and connect businesses to consume goods.

Vice Chairman of My Duc District People's Committee Le Van Trang said that currently, there are 44 OCOP products in the area certified by Hanoi City with 3 stars or more, including 1 5-star product, 21 products with 4 stars; 20 products with 3 stars... In addition, there are typical products such as Huong pagoda's rau sang, Huong Tich apricot, Huong Tich apricot wine, yam cake...

“The 2024 Trade - Tourism Promotion Fair is a special highlight during the 2024 Huong Pagoda Festival. During the fair, production facilities of My Duc district will introduce many typical products of the district such as silk, silk scarves, paintings, lotus silk scarves, wine, vegetables, specialty fruits of Huong Tich apricots, and various types of Huong Pagoda vegetables...

From a consumer perspective, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga in lane 85 Nguyen Luong Bang (Dong Da) shared that organizing the Trade Fair and introducing OCOP products has helped pilgrims worshiping Buddha in the first days of the new year have more opportunities to access Huong Pagoda specialties such as rau sang and banh cu yam with guaranteed quality and origin.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, HPA Deputy Director Bui Duy Quang stated that the event is an opportunity for participating units to promote their brands, enhance product value, and contribute to preserving traditional craft villages, culture, and local tourism. Consumers coming to the fair will not only have access to high-quality goods and regional specialties, but will also experience typical tourism services of the Huong Pagoda Festival.

The fair reflects HPA's efforts to promote the values ​​and historical and cultural images of Huong Son scenic relics and Huong Pagoda Festival to domestic and international tourists.

At the same time, promote the promotion of traditional craft village products, local specialties, and promote tourist destinations to locals and tourists. Thereby stimulating domestic consumption within the framework of the Huong Pagoda Festival, increasing total retail sales of goods and services, serving the shopping and experience needs of the people of the capital and tourists.
