Ram Banh Muot
Coming to Ha Tinh, tourists can easily find small eateries with signs "Ram - Banh muot". "Ram" is a word used to refer to a dish similar to fried spring rolls, "banh muot" is another way of saying "banh cuon" or "banh uot".
Each spring roll is rolled tightly, about two fingers wide. The tighter the spring roll is rolled, the tastier it is, and the filling will not fall out when eaten. The filling includes minced pork, onions, vermicelli, coriander, and spices. The pungent, slightly bitter smell of coriander creates the unique flavor of Ha Tinh spring rolls.
In particular, ram banh muot is also a dish suitable for the four seasons of Vietnam. In winter, in the cold wind and the cold drizzle of the central region, a hot, crispy ram rolled in a layer of banh muot, dipped in a bowl of chili, garlic and lemon fish sauce is enough to enjoy the wonderfulness in it.
In addition to the above delicious dishes, visitors can buy specialties such as: Cu Do candy, sesame rice paper, chewy ram, Phuc Trach grapefruit, ... as gifts.
