Vietnam Poetry Day is a major cultural activity, held annually on the occasion of the Lantern Festival (the 15th day of the first lunar month). In 2025, the Vietnam Writers' Association will implement the general theme of Poetry Day as "The Fatherland soars". In most provinces and cities, Poetry Day takes place in many different forms, suitable to the practical situation of each locality. In Dak Lak, Poetry Day on the occasion of the 15th day of the first lunar month is organized in coordination between the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Provincial Library with the main theme "Dak Lak - Soaring with the country". Poetry Day 2025 in Dak Lak is organized with many rich activities such as the Literature Discussion "Vietnamese Poetry, Dak Lak - 50 years after the country's reunification", displaying and introducing poetry publications and many types of literature and art such as Fine Arts, Photography, Folk Arts, etc. for many audiences, many ages, especially for children to read and perform poetry.

According to the Chairman of the Dak Lak Literature and Arts Association, Head of the Program Organizing Committee, Vietnam Poetry Day in Dak Lak has a very special character. This is an opportunity for poetry and other fields of literature and arts, folk arts of ethnic groups to blend with the public with many forces and participants. At the same time, it is a golden time to officially launch the jubilation of literature and arts associated with important political, economic and cultural events of the country and province in the new year.

Vietnam Poetry Day in Dak Lak is also a cultural and artistic activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - March 3, 2025); the 50th anniversary of the victory of Buon Ma Thuot, the liberation of Dak Lak province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025); towards the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 50 years of the summary of Vietnamese literature and arts, Dak Lak literature and arts and the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Dak Lak Literature and Arts Association (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2025).
