The art program "Two banks of Vi, Giam" is the highlight in the series of activities of the Festival "Returning to the Vi, Giam region - Connecting the quintessence of heritage".

The program includes diverse performances of Vi and Giam folk songs, imbued with deep lyricism, interspersed with short reports and on-stage exchanges, divided into 3 parts: "Nghe Sediments", "Heritage Journey" and "Let the Source Flow Forever". The content of part 1 talks about the tradition, history, culture and people of Nghe - Tinh, a land of important strategic position, which has deposited cultural and historical sediments over time since ancient times. The source of Vi and Giam is crystallized from labor and production, from the process of fighting against nature and invaders, from the love, intelligence and talent of the people here. Vi and Giam are unique because of their language and performance; because the melodies are associated with the rhythm of life in the countryside, which is sunny and rainy but full of strong will; rustic but subtle; simple but smooth; optimistic, poignant but full of depth and passion...

Part 2 emphasizes that 10 years after being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Vi and Giam has increasingly demonstrated its strong vitality through the efforts to preserve and promote its value by all levels, sectors, artisans, artists, and folk song clubs. Vi and Giam songs today are not only sung in the fields, bamboo banks, thatched roofs, and flying over children's hammocks, but are actually quietly spreading through the roofs and passed down through generations. Vi and Giam folk songs are present in many spaces, connecting with eco-tourism, bringing the songs to fly far and wide.
