Highlights of the Art Program “50 Years of Great Victory

The program is performed by artists and actors from the Provincial Traditional Arts Center, the "Highland Fire" group, the Folk Song, Folk Music, Folk Dance, and Gong Club of the Tho and Thai ethnic groups in Nghia Lac commune, Nghia Dan district.

The program consists of 2 chapters, of which Chapter 1 is titled "The Great Victory of Spring 1975" , Chapter 2 is titled "54 ethnic groups in one family".

Chapter 1 has 3 performances, including the Vietnamese Bamboo singing and dancing performance, expressing the indomitable spirit and strong will of people with Vietnamese blood.

With the heroic spirit in the days of celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the medley "Marching to Saigon"; "The Country is Full of Joy"; "Unification Song", "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City" were selected by the Board of Directors of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center to perform in chapter 1 to express the joy, pride, and direction towards the South in the days of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification.

In chapter 2, “54 ethnic groups in one family” includes 8 performances, with content describing the unique cultural levels of the Tho, Thai, Mong, Kho Mu ethnic groups... In this chapter, the actors of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center collaborated with the Gong Club, Khac Luong of the Tho and Thai ethnic groups in Nghia Lac commune, Nghia Dan district to perform unique performances about their ethnic cultures.

Director of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center Tran Quoc Chung said: “50 years of great victory - 54 ethnic groups as one family” is a program aiming at the day when the country is united, the program also shows the solidarity of 54 ethnic groups on the occasion of the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day on April 19, held in Nghia Dan district. The program promises to bring joy and excitement to the ethnic people in the province; it is a meaningful musical feature to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.”
