Bodies of 2 drowned children found in Phu Rieng

Authorities and people actively search for the bodies of the two children.

Accordingly, at around 1:10 p.m. on April 20, two siblings, LH (10 years old) and LB (15 years old), residing in Hamlet 2, Long Ha Commune, Phu Rieng District, and some relatives went to play at the Be River. While bathing in the river, LH fell into a deep hole. Seeing that, his older brother LB went down to save him and called a relative to help, but they were unsuccessful. Both LH and LB sank into the deep hole. Family members informed the local security force and Long Ha Commune police for support.

Immediately after receiving the news, leaders of Phu Rieng district and Long Ha commune were present to directly direct the search. The grassroots security forces, Long Ha commune police, Phu Rieng district military command and the provincial police rescue force mobilized many rescue vehicles to the scene to coordinate with local people to actively search.

At around 7:00 a.m. on April 21, rescuers found LB's body about 700 meters from the scene and LH's body 50 meters from the scene.
