On the afternoon of February 26, Mr. Vu Van Nguyen (residing in village 7, Ia To commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai) said that his daughter, VTML (born in 2008, 10th grade student at Huynh Thuc Khang High School) was found after nearly 2 days missing.

Specifically, at 10:45 a.m. the same day, Ia Khai town police (Ia Grai district) found his daughter in a rented room in the area.

According to Mr. Nguyen, when he was found, VTML was in a state of panic. Ia Khai town police are working with VTML to gather information and verify the cause of the incident.

As VietNamNet reported, on Saturday afternoon, February 24, VTML drove his motorbike to school to study. However, at 4 p.m. the same day, the homeroom teacher called to inform him that L. did not come to class.

On the evening of February 25, after more than a day of losing contact with VTML, Mr. Nguyen texted his daughter: “Come home, your parents are waiting for you; wherever you are, your parents will come pick you up. Come home, your parents won’t scold you.”

At 10:14 p.m. the same day, from VTML's Zalo, there was a reply asking for help: "Mom and Dad, please save me. I can't live." After that, L. lost contact.

Mr. Nguyen was informed by his daughter's friends that he had received a message from Zalo from L. stating that he was arrested, locked up, tied up and threatened. When this person asked where he was, VTML replied that he did not know.
