2 missing students bathing in the river in Quang Binh found

On the morning of April 21, the People's Committee of Nhan Trach Commune (Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province) said that after many hours of searching, functional forces including police, military, the commune's disaster prevention and search and rescue committee and local people found the bodies of two missing students while bathing in Dinh River, about 3-5m from the drowning location, using the diving method.

Local authorities mobilized more than 100 people to search for two drowned children at night.

As reported by the Vietnam Law Newspaper , at around 6pm (April 20), four students went to the end of the Dinh River (in Nhan Hai village, Nhan Trach commune, Bo Trach district) to swim. While swimming, two students swam safely to shore, while the other two went missing.

Upon receiving the news, local authorities mobilized more than 100 people to search for the two children on a large scale.

At 7:30 a.m. on April 21, PLTA's body was found. About 30 minutes later, authorities and local residents found H.D.H.'s body.

Currently, the authorities are completing procedures to hand over the bodies to the families for burial according to local customs.
