The products entering the high-end market segment further affirm the increasingly prestigious quality of Bac Giang lychees with consumers. Currently, early lychees are being harvested, with prices ranging from 25,000 to 70,000 VND/kg, many gardeners earning hundreds of millions of VND. This achievement continues to motivate lychee growers to focus on care to create quality products in the next season.
With more than 20 thousand tons consumed, Bac Giang province will continue to promote lychee consumption in the coming time. Many businesses have surveyed and signed contracts with gardeners to purchase and export lychees during the main season.
In 2024, the lychee output of Bac Giang province is estimated to reach 100 thousand tons. Harvest time is from May 20 to July 30. Of which, early lychee is harvested from May 20 to June 15, main crop lychee from June 10.

To support lychee consumption, the State Bank of Vietnam, Bac Giang Province Branch, has directed commercial banks in the province to prepare more than VND2 trillion for customers to borrow to process and consume lychees.
Accordingly, right from the beginning of the season, commercial bank branches in Bac Giang province have developed plans to balance and prioritize capital sources, creating favorable conditions for businesses, cooperatives and people to access loans most conveniently.
Some banks are preparing large amounts of capital such as: Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, Bac Giang II Branch, about 600 billion VND; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Bac Giang Branch, 500 billion VND; Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade, Bac Giang Branch, about 400 billion VND; Agriculture and Rural Development Bank, Provincial Branch, 80 billion VND.
Along with proactive capital allocation, during the lychee season, banks regularly support their affiliated branches at the district level, promptly transferring cash within the day. In particular, they increase the deployment of credit officers to the area, consider establishing mobile teams to best meet customers' transaction needs.
