The landslide occurred near the entrance gate to Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco- tourism Area.

Deputy Director of the Department of Transport of Quang Nam province - Mr. Ho Quang Minh said that the landslide area belongs to the project to upgrade and expand route DT609 (section An Diem - A So) which has been handed over by the industry to the project investor, the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Quang Nam province, for construction.

Upon receiving the information, the Department of Transport's leaders requested the investor to request the contractor to mobilize machinery, equipment, and human resources to urgently fix the landslide. By 5:00 a.m. on September 20, the contractor had cleared one lane. Director of the Department of Transport - Mr. Van Anh Tuan said that he had requested relevant units to continue clearing the landslide, controlling the risk of further landslides; ensuring safety for people and vehicles passing by.

According to information from the Department of Transport's Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command, as of 8:30 this morning, all major routes and routes managed by the sector were operating normally.
