Da Nang promotes opening flights from Indonesia

During a working trip to Indonesia, on the morning of August 29, a delegation from Da Nang City led by Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi worked directly with airlines Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia to promote direct flights to Da Nang.

At the meeting, the delegation provided information on destinations, potential and growth of the Indonesian tourist market to Da Nang, shared information on preferential policies for airlines and received proposals from partners. At the same time, the city committed to continue promoting communication and promotion activities to open flights from Indonesia to Da Nang in the coming time. Representatives of Garuda Indonesia and Citilink Indonesia airlines expressed special interest and wanted to expand their flight network to new attractive destinations in Southeast Asia, including Da Nang, Vietnam. Notably, Citilink Indonesia Airlines and PT. UOS Travel Company informed about the plan to open a charter flight from Jakarta (Indonesia) to Da Nang, with the expected operation time in December 2024.
