Da Nang temporarily builds dragon park, creates new check-in spot

On February 19, Mr. Le Quang Nam - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - commented:

Agreeing with the proposal of the Department of Construction of Da Nang, assign this department to preside over and coordinate with MoNo BoGo Vietnam Co., Ltd. (socialized investor), Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Co., Ltd. (project contractor) to come up with a plan to concentrate all dragon mascots for Tet decoration and some flower decoration miniatures.

The location is a plot of land northwest of the intersection of Vo Van Kiet and Vo Nguyen Giap streets. Area is about 2.8 hectares (this is the land planned to build a financial center, during the time the project has not been implemented according to the plan).

The construction technical consulting center established a preliminary design plan to temporarily build a dragon park on the above land.

City leaders also directed to ensure requirements on landscape architecture, create a new tourist check-in point, along with essential public services such as restrooms, outdoor art performance stages, food kiosks, photography and printing services, etc. to serve residents and tourists.

Previously, Da Nang also decided that the Tet flower street along both banks of the Han River will be maintained and cared for to serve people and tourists until February 24 (Tet Nguyen Tieu).
