On April 22, information from the Da Nang Department of Tourism said that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the entire city will be bustling with a series of cultural - sports - entertainment events stretching from the sea to the mountains, from the center to the suburbs. The activities not only bring a vibrant festival atmosphere but also contribute to promoting the image of Da Nang tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.

Specifically, from April 26 to May 2, the program "Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2025" with the theme Blue Wave Dance will take place at Bien Dong Park, Son Tra Peninsula and famous beaches such as My An, My Khe, T18, Nguyen Tat Thanh. The highlight of the program is a series of attractive activities such as artistic kite flying, the "Overcoming Summer Waves" sea swimming competition, the "Son Tra Moments" photo exhibition, beach sports competition, live painting, and the "Danang Color Race 2025" color race...

At Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, the Sun Flower Festival will bring a colorful art space with thousands of blooming sunflowers. Visitors can stroll along the “Sunny Flower Street”, explore the “New Day Flower Street” or take photos at the check-in point “Brilliant Sun”. In particular, on April 30, each visitor to Ba Na will be given a red flag shirt with a yellow star to immerse themselves in the sacred historical atmosphere of the country.

For tourists who love to explore history, Da Nang Museum is a destination not to be missed. From April 1, the museum officially opened for free after a period of upgrading. On this year's holiday, it will show a special 3D Mapping program recreating the 50-year journey of completely liberating the South and unifying the country - combining modern technology with content rich in historical value.

Other locations such as Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki 365 Water Park or Trung Vuong Theater are also bustling with festival atmosphere. The “Animal Actors” show at Nui Than Tai, the “Dance Warriors” festival at Mikazuki, the Yukata wearing experience and the Japanese garden all promise to bring visitors memorable moments.

According to statistics from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, during this year's holiday, the city has nearly 1,300 accommodation establishments with more than 46,000 rooms to serve tourists. Room occupancy at 4-5 star hotels along the coast is at an average of 70%, many small hotels are fully booked. Room occupancy in the city center is around 60%. It is expected that the number of visitors to Da Nang during the holiday will increase by about 15% compared to the same period in 2024.

With careful preparation, diverse festival activities and quality tourism services, Da Nang is affirming its position as an ideal destination for the 2025 summer tourist season.
