Da Nang releases doves of peace to welcome two special ships on the occasion of April 30

On April 23, the Da Nang Department of Tourism said that according to statistics, during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays, the total capacity of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments in the area is estimated to reach 75-80%.

From April 30 to May 4, Da Nang airport is expected to receive nearly 700 flights, an increase of 16% compared to last year. On average, it receives about 138 flights per day, including 81 domestic flights.

Tien Sa Port is expected to welcome a cruise ship with more than 2,000 international visitors to visit famous tourist areas and attractions in Da Nang City. The number of visitors arriving by train is estimated at about 13,243, an increase of 10% over the same period in 2024.

During this holiday, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center will coordinate with Vietnam Railways Corporation to welcome a pair of special trains running on the North-South route named "Unification Train" .

On the occasion of April 30 this year, Da Nang City organizes many attractive activities to serve residents and tourists.

In addition to organizing art performances and traditional musical instruments in the waiting area, the welcome ceremony also includes a dove release performance. Passengers on the train will be given flowers and souvenirs.

This pair of trains includes: Train SE1 departing from Hanoi station on April 29; Train SE4 departing from Ho Chi Minh City on April 29. Both trains are expected to meet in Da Nang at around 12:30 on April 30, dropping off about 310 passengers at the station.

In addition, the city will organize the program "Opening the 2025 beach tourism season" with the theme "Blue Wave Dance" from April 26 to May 2 at Bien Dong Park, Son Tra Peninsula and My Khe, My An, Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches...

Highlights include artistic kite performances, sea swimming competitions, beach sports performances, painting exhibitions, check-in model displays, and many other exciting events. The 2025 Sea Flower Street will also officially serve visitors from this holiday.

At the same time, a series of tourism stimulus programs were launched with the message "Enjoy Danang - Multiple experiences", providing attractive incentives on platforms such as the Enjoy Danang website, Danang FantastiCity fanpage and travel companies. The Tourist Support Center and the Rapid Response Team are also ready to provide timely support throughout the holiday.
