On February 20, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, signed a decision approving the acceptance of a project to support the popularization of digital skills in Da Nang City sponsored by The Dariu Foundation (Switzerland).
The project aims to improve the capacity of city IT teachers to teach computer and programming skills, expand access to computers and new programming languages, contribute to improving the quality of human resources, promote national digital transformation and narrow the digital skills gap between rural and urban students.
The project also encourages innovation and design thinking among students through establishing makerspaces, sponsoring programming clubs and organizing technology exchange playgrounds.
Specifically, within the framework of the project, equipment such as 420 laptops (including 300 domestically purchased, used, with appraisal certificates) will be sponsored for 17 - 19 schools.
Sponsored 40 firefighting robots, 2 VEX V5 robots for 15 programming clubs in 15 schools.

In addition, the project sponsors 4 invention spaces for 4 schools, sponsors activities for 15 programming clubs, organizes 5 playgrounds for technology exchange, scientific and technical innovation, and implements 15 scientific and technical topics...
The project will be implemented until 2025 with a total cost of more than 3.6 billion VND.
