(NLDO) – Artist Dinh Van Tam is the father of three mascots: tiger, cat, and dragon, which have caused a stir on social networks during the Lunar New Year in recent years.
On January 9, the Danang Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board said that it had coordinated with the contractor for the 2025 Danang Spring Flower Street construction to work with artisan Dinh Van Tam in Quang Tri to order and construct the snake mascot.

Specifically, Da Nang will construct two snake mascots, one of which will be placed at the T-shaped bridge (in front of the Da Nang Museum), and the other at the Dragon Bridge tail park. According to the schedule, the snake mascot and the flower decoration and lighting projects at the Dragon Bridge tail park will be completed on January 25.

Recently, the snake mascot made by artisan Dinh Van Tam placed in Quang Tri also made many people admire. On Lunar New Year 2024, artisan Dinh Van Tam was also ordered by a unit in Da Nang to have a dragon mascot placed at Nam Duong Park, Hai Chau district, also attracting a lot of people and tourists to visit and take pictures at night.
According to the Da Nang Department of Construction, the flower decoration and lighting project for the 2025 Lunar New Year has 14 flower decoration locations and 8 lighting decoration locations, with a total investment of more than 18 billion VND.
Da Nang also expanded the scope of flower decoration at some locations in the area of the September 2 Memorial and March 29 Square as well as prioritized speeding up the progress of some flower decoration points to serve the sightseeing and experience program of delegates attending the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Da Nang 2025.
