In an interview with Tien Phong, the University of Economics said that this year the school will open 4 new training programs including: International Finance, Artificial Intelligence in Business, International Transportation and Logistics, and International Trade Law. According to the school's leaders, Da Nang is the place where the Financial Center and Free Trade Zone will be formed and developed, so opening these new majors will not only diversify the fields of study but also catch up with the digital economic trend, anticipating human resource needs. It is expected that the training programs of these 4 new majors will follow a special mechanism, fully or partially in English.

Also anticipating the Financial Center, Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications opened a new major in Financial Technology with 60 targets. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap - Principal of the school said: "Financial Technology is becoming an inevitable trend in the digital age, when technology is widely applied in the financial sector, changing the way of transactions, payments, investments and financial management. This is completely consistent with the orientation of building Da Nang into a regional financial center".

In addition, the school also opened new majors: Data Analysis, Game Technology and Automotive Software Engineering. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, the Data Analysis major meets the increasing demand for human resources capable of analyzing and processing big data, helping organizations and businesses make effective business decisions. Digital data is a top concern of the world , so training high-quality human resources in data analysis is becoming more urgent. Game Technology and Automotive Software Engineering are also fields with great potential for development, as the game industry and the automotive industry are undergoing great technological advances. The development of these industries will contribute to promoting the development of the high-tech industry in Da Nang, while creating many job opportunities for the city's residents.

Meanwhile, the University of Technology has opened a new major in Railway - Metro Construction, attracting attention. The school representative said that this is a major under the Department of Traffic Construction Engineering, Faculty of Road and Bridge Construction. It is expected that this year, 60 students will be recruited, training for 4.5 years. "In the near future, when high-speed railway and urban railway projects are implemented, human resources will be in great need. Therefore, this new major is at the forefront of the development trend of the national railway transport system," the school representative added.
