Da Nang announces first "food tour" campaign

(NLDO) - The Da Nang Department of Tourism has just announced the Da Nang food tour campaign, including many new experiential activities along with a series of incentives for tourists.


In this campaign, Da Nang City introduces culinary destinations and regional and international specialties.

This is the first time the city has implemented a campaign with the aim of not only serving delicious food but also combining the experience space, professional service, service attitude... creating meaning for the experiences of tourists.

The campaign includes two main activities: "culinary digital map" and "culinary passport". In the "culinary digital map", the Da Nang Department of Tourism has built the website www.foodtourdanang.vn with both Vietnamese and English versions.

Da Nang City launched the Da Nang food tour campaign to introduce quality culinary locations in terms of both food and service attitude.

Visitors to this website can find information on local specialties, regional Vietnamese and international cuisine, locations selected by Michelin Guide, information on specialty gifts or culinary paradise with a diverse list.

In addition, there is also a list of 400 reputable and quality culinary locations in Da Nang city.

Many local dishes are introduced in the Da Nang food tour campaign.

From December 15 to March 15, 2025, the Da Nang Department of Tourism will issue more than 10,000 culinary passports at the Tourist Information Counter at the domestic and international terminals - Da Nang International Airport, the Tourist Support Center - 18 Hung Vuong, 50 selected culinary locations and a number of hotels and major tourist attractions.

Customers using services at 50 culinary locations in the passport will be collected a unique stamp. Tourists or residents holding the culinary passport and experiencing 50 unique culinary locations will enjoy many incentives on payment, transportation, food, gifts, etc.

In particular, the earliest culinary passport holders to experience the locations will receive additional vouchers.

Specifically, the first tourist to collect the stamps of both 1-star Michelin restaurants La Maison 1888 and 1-star Michelin Nen Da Nang will receive a tour to enjoy the Aphrodite Son Tra cruise, worth 18,500,000 VND, along with a 1-night stay at the Wyndham Golden Bay hotel...

The first tourist to collect all 15 stamps from the culinary establishments will receive a pair of vouchers to experience paragliding around Son Tra peninsula, along with a voucher for a seafood meal and a night at a hotel...
