On February 19, Mr. Le Quang Nam - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee sent an official dispatch to the Department of Construction agreeing with the proposal of this department regarding the temporary construction of Dragon Park.
Accordingly, Da Nang assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with socialized investors and project contractors to come up with a plan to concentrate all the dragon mascots for Tet decoration and some flower decoration miniatures on a 2.8-hectare plot of land on Vo Van Kiet and Vo Nguyen Giap streets (this is the land planned to build a financial center, during the time the project has not been implemented according to the plan).
The Dragon mascot statue at Nam Duong Park (Da Nang) received a lot of compliments for its majestic and brave appearance.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Construction Technical Consulting Center to develop a preliminary design plan for the temporary construction of Dragon Park on the above land. At the same time, it requested this unit to ensure the requirements of landscape architecture, create a new tourist check-in point, along with essential public utility services such as toilets, outdoor art performance stages, food kiosks, photography and printing services, etc. to serve the people and tourists visiting and enjoying.
