Regarding this project, at the end of 2023, Da Nang City issued Decision No. 1936/QD-UBND, recognizing MM Mega Market (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. located at Area B, An Phu - An Khanh New Urban Area, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City as the winner of the auction of land use rights for the commercial service area (supermarket) in the southeast area of ​​the student dormitory, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District. This land area has an area of ​​19,197 m2; the winning auction price is 792,867 VND/m2/year.

After that, Da Nang City granted an investment certificate to MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd., with the MM Mega Market Danang Trade Center Project, with a total investment capital of nearly 20 million USD.

According to the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District, in addition to the positive results of the urbanization process, the exploitation of land funds is taking place on a large scale, making the reserve land fund for developing commercial and service facilities in the district increasingly narrow.
