According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the afternoon of October 15 to October 17, the area from South Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall of 50-250mm, some places over 400mm. In particular, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai will have heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 250-450mm, some places over 700mm.

In addition, from the afternoon of October 15 to October 16, the Central Highlands, the South, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 30-60mm, some places over 100mm, thunderstorms concentrated in the afternoon and at night.

On the night of October 17-18, rain tends to expand to the North, from Southern Nghe An to Quang Ngai heavy rain of 100-200mm, in some places over 400mm.

Also according to the meteorological agency, from today (October 15) to October 18, a flood will occur on rivers in the provinces from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, with a flood amplitude of 3-8m in the upper reaches of the rivers and 1-4m in the lower reaches. During this flood, the peak water level in rivers in Quang Binh and Quang Tri will rise to alert level 1 to alert level 2, some rivers will be above alert level 2, and rivers from Thua Thien Hue to Quang Ngai will rise to alert level 2 to alert level 3.

High risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, localized flooding in low-lying areas along rivers and urban areas in provinces from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai.
