Sumitomo Group Representative: Da Nang has great potential in logistics and seaports
Mr. Shinya Hosoi, representative of Sumitomo Group, affirmed that Da Nang has great potential in logistics and seaports; the Group is working with authorities to study the feasibility of the Lien Chieu port project.
Speaking with reporters of the Investment Electronic Newspaper - Baodautu.vn, on the sidelines of the forum "Da Nang Free Trade Zone - New driving force for the development of the logistics industry in Da Nang city", Mr. Shinya Hosoi - Assistant General Director, Port and Airport Infrastructure Business Department (Sumitomo Corporation, Japan) affirmed that Da Nang city possesses many potentials and advantages in logistics and seaports.
According to Mr. Shinya Hosoi, Da Nang's potential is very good, because the city is the seaport and logistics center of the region.
Regarding the formation of the Free Trade Zone, Mr. Shinya Hosoi said that, compared to many other places, at this time Da Nang city still has a lot of work to do. However, in the future, the Free Trade Zone and Lien Chieu Port will bring good development to Da Nang.
Sharing about Sumitomo Group's interest in investing in Lien Chieu port, Mr. Shinya Hosoi affirmed that the Group is very interested in this seaport project and is coordinating with the authorities to study the project's feasibility.
