Kinhtedothi-Recently, comrade Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City and the delegation of the People's Council of Hai Chau District had a meeting with voters of Hoa Cuong Bac, Hoa Cuong Nam and Hoa Thuan Tay wards after the 21st session of the 10th City People's Council, term 2021-2026.
Impressive socio-economic achievements in 2024
At the meeting, the representative of the Delegation reported on the results of the 21st Session. The session passed 40 important resolutions, including 12 resolutions implementing Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly, opening up many specific mechanisms and policies to develop Da Nang.
Voters expressed their joy at the city's socio-economic achievements and proposed solutions to improve healthcare and education infrastructure, urban beautification and prevent online fraud.
Comrade Le Trung Chinh acknowledged the opinions and affirmed that the City People's Committee will implement solutions to ensure stable people's lives. He also informed about the outstanding results in 2024. Accordingly, the city's economy grew remarkably: GRDP increased by 7.51% compared to 2023, reaching more than 150,000 billion VND. Budget revenue in 2024 exceeded the estimate by 35%, expected to exceed 40% by the end of the year, with many bright spots from businesses and production and business activities.
The city has allocated VND5 trillion to upgrade hospital infrastructure, along with VND700 billion for modern equipment. Hospitals and medical stations across the city have been significantly renovated. The school system has also received synchronous investment, meeting the requirements of educational innovation.
Many backlog projects, including those on the coast and Son Tra Peninsula, have been thoroughly resolved. The city plans to remove 1,313 projects, creating momentum for sustainable development.

Premise for breakthrough in new phase
Comrade Le Trung Chinh emphasized that the National Assembly's approval of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 and the Politburo's approval of the policy of establishing a regional financial center in Da Nang will be an important lever for the city to develop rapidly in the coming time.
The city also aims to invest heavily in technical infrastructure, renovate the water supply and drainage system and ensure that social security policies are always promoted.
He affirmed: “2025 will be a pivotal year, focusing on removing difficulties, implementing new mechanisms, and at the same time effectively arranging the administrative apparatus. Regardless of their position, every cadre and civil servant must work with the highest sense of responsibility and excellently complete the assigned tasks.”
The unceasing efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city over the past year have created a solid foundation for Da Nang to continue to develop rapidly, sustainably and be worthy of being one of the dynamic cities of the country.
