Areas frequently exposed to water, such as kitchens, should use super water-resistant industrial flooring from brands like Robina, Camsan, Binyl, Alsafloor, Fortune Aqua, Wilplus, etc.
Engineered wood flooring comes in many varieties, from inexpensive to high-end, making it suitable for the majority of Vietnamese incomes. Some well-known engineered wood flooring brands on the market include Robina, Camsan, Binyl, Alsafloor, Fortune Aqua, Wilplus… These products are manufactured to high technological standards and are priced from 300,000 to 600,000 VND/m2. Reputable high-quality flooring brands offer warranties of 25-35 years.
Many dealers selling this product say that for wood flooring, the standard is usually from AC3 to AC5. AC3 surface flooring is suitable for areas with moderate traffic. AC4 and AC5 can be used for areas with higher traffic such as gyms, offices, hotels, and restaurants.
For private homes, AC4, AC5, and AC6 grades can also be used to ensure product integrity after many years of use. The price of engineered wood flooring depends on technical specifications such as thickness, with two common thicknesses being 8mm and 12mm.
The thicker the floorboards, the greater their stability and load-bearing capacity. Therefore, 8mm thick floorboards are generally recommended for areas of moderate size with low traffic, avoiding damp areas and those requiring frequent cleaning. 12mm thick wood flooring, on the other hand, can be used in areas with high traffic, lots of furniture, and frequent cleaning.
