The trend of changing business forms or diversifying sales channels is currently being actively participated in by businesses in Soc Trang province. Typically, WinMart Soc Trang Supermarket, in addition to the form of direct shopping at the supermarket, online shopping website and Zalo phone number for shopping on behalf of customers, Facebook page is also increasingly favored by customers because of its convenience and speed. According to the representative of WinMart Soc Trang Supermarket, the business form of Zalo phone number for shopping on behalf of customers is supported and enthusiastically participated by customers with 4 Zalo groups with over 2,000 members. When shopping at the supermarket, for orders of 200,000 VND or more, WinMart Soc Trang accepts free delivery within a radius of 5km.

In addition to direct sales, Co.opmart Soc Trang supermarket also promotes sales via Zalo, Facebook, website, and Co.op platform app to reach a wide range of customers. Along with that, the supermarket also regularly implements promotions, discounts, and free delivery for bills worth VND 200,000 or more within a radius of 6km to attract and serve customers.

Despite having a store located right on the street, Ms. M's business in Ward 2, Soc Trang city is still lacking customers, the burden of rent and monthly salaries for employees is always a concern. Grasping the trend, Ms. M created a channel on Tiktok to post short clips introducing the store and the products being sold at reasonable prices, she even invested in clips showing directions to help customers find the store as easily as possible. Thanks to that, her store has a stable number of customers and many new customers, mainly young people. For example, Tho and Lien, through the Tiktok channel, they learned about Ms. M's store. "The goods are very diverse, the prices are reasonable, so my friends and I often come here to buy," said Tho.

Although Ms. Moi's products of purple onion jam, three-sided crab, shrimp paste, sweet salted pickled radish... are known to many people, Ms. Pham Thi Moi still regularly posts articles promoting the products on social networking platforms and e-commerce platforms of the province. According to Ms. Pham Thi Moi - owner of Co Moi agricultural, forestry and fishery processing facility (Soc Trang city), she still maintains "posting" articles promoting the products of the facility with pictures and entertainment information. This is also a way to bring products to consumers, although retail sales have decreased, wholesale sales at the facility are still stable.

Due to economic difficulties, people tightened spending, the business of Mr. Trieu Hong Kong - owner of Ngoc Tai children's toy store (Soc Trang city) also had fewer customers. Therefore, he proactively built a channel to sell products on social networking sites and did affiliate marketing to sell products on Tiktok to increase income and improve revenue.

According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade of Soc Trang, the whole province currently has 100 provincial enterprises submitting registration documents to participate in putting products, goods and services on the soctrangtrade.vn floor. As a result, by April 2, 2025, 121 provincial enterprises completed registration documents and procedures, were approved to create booths, with 301 products and goods. In addition, 63/63 enterprises of Soc Trang province maintain sales on Shopee, Sendo, Tiki, Lazada, Voso, Postmart floors. According to statistics from the floor system, the total number of orders of enterprises is over 30,000 orders.

Thereby, it can be seen that the trend of changing the form of buying and selling, diversifying business channels is actively responded to by the business community and business households in Soc Trang province. However, according to sharing from people and businesses, the current high e-commerce floor fees have affected business activities. Therefore, businesses and business households need to find a suitable direction, in which they need to pay attention to improving product quality, creating a distinct brand so that consumers can confidently put their trust in the products and goods of the businesses and establishments they produce and trade.
