Diversify forms of propaganda to bring tax policy into life

In recent years, the tax sector has actively innovated and diversified forms of propaganda and support to help people easily access tax policies. Thereby, it has made an important contribution to improving the efficiency of budget collection in the area.

Tax officers post articles and video clips to promote and guide tax policies through media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, and the Tax Department's website.

In reality, when any tax policy is issued, the first thing that cannot be avoided is questions during the implementation process from people and businesses... Therefore, to specifically answer and remove those obstacles, disseminating tax law policies is one of the important tasks that the tax sector always puts first. In recent times, the tax sector has implemented training courses for officials in the sector. At the same time, promoting the dissemination of tax policies to the business community and people through many different methods such as: direct support at the one-stop department of the tax authority; organizing dialogues and training sessions on tax policies at the tax authority's headquarters; answering taxpayers' questions in writing, electronic exchanges on the Etax system, via phone, email, social networks Facebook, Zalo and the Tax Department's electronic information page...

In addition, the Tax Department also coordinates with Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station and Thanh Hoa Newspaper to maintain the column "Tax policy and life" with appropriate frequency so that people and businesses can grasp and understand correctly about tax policies, thereby fully fulfilling their obligations to the State budget.

Since the beginning of the year, the tax sector has posted more than 400 news and articles on the sector's website to provide information and support taxpayers in accessing tax policies. In particular, through the form of propaganda via documents and emails, the tax sector has made thousands of notifications to taxpayers about new tax policies to help taxpayers promptly update important changes. In addition, the Tax Department has promoted administrative reform as well as modernized the tax sector by providing electronic tax declaration and payment services; deploying the Etax Mobile application for taxpayers to fulfill their tax declaration and payment obligations across the province for individuals and business households. Thereby, not only reducing the number of hours and costs of tax law compliance for taxpayers but also reducing time and costs for tax authorities.

Thanks to the support for taxpayers being implemented seriously and in accordance with the process, since the beginning of the year, the tax sector has trained 3,325 taxpayers on new tax policies and dialogues. Thereby, businesses and entrepreneurs in the province have proactively declared and paid taxes in a timely manner according to regulations. Thanks to that, the state budget revenue in the province has increased steadily over the years. In particular, in the first 9 months of 2024, it reached 42,695 billion VND, exceeding the estimate by 20%, up 44.7% over the same period, ranking first in the North Central region and among the top 10 localities with the highest revenue in the country.

Through the propaganda work to support taxpayers that has been deployed in the past, it has been shown that propaganda on social networking sites is a highly effective form of propaganda due to its timeliness and convenience. The results of propaganda on electronic news sites have reached a large number of visitors and interactions. In particular, the number of followers and interested people on the Tax Department's electronic information page, zalo and facebook channels is increasing, shortening the distance between authorities and people, helping tax policies to easily "infiltrate" into life, thereby supporting taxpayers to easily remove obstacles related to tax policies.
