On the morning of June 8, Hai Duong Provincial Police released initial information about the robbery at Duc Nam gold shop in Dong Cam commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong).
Two gold shop robbers in Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong) were arrested 8 hours after committing the crime.
Specifically, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 7, when Mr. Nguyen Dang Ninh (born in 1977, Dong Cam commune, Kim Thanh district, currently the Chief of Police of Tuan Viet commune) was looking after his family's Duc Nam gold shop, two men wearing masks, wearing covered clothes, riding an Exciter motorbike, brand YAMAHA, stormed into the store.
Then, one of them pointed a gun at Mr. Ninh to threaten and control him, while the other used a hammer to break the glass to take the gold at the counter. Mr. Ninh shouted and ran out to grab the shirt of the man who was taking the gold.
At this time, the gunman fired at Mr. Ninh, then both of them abandoned the motorbike and fled the scene on foot. Mr. Ninh was hit by two bullets, one in the left chest and one in the left thigh.
Mr. Ninh was taken to Viet Tiep Hospital in Hai Phong for emergency treatment. Currently, Mr. Ninh's health is stable.

Immediately after receiving the news, Colonel Bui Quang Binh - Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police and Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Tai - Deputy Director of Department C02 (Ministry of Public Security) directly went to the scene to direct the functional forces to examine the scene, urgently investigate and arrest the perpetrator.
Nearly 8 hours after the robbery, on the morning of June 8, with the coordination of the Departments of Professional Affairs - Ministry of Public Security, the Police of relevant units and localities and the people, the functional forces arrested the 2 suspects who caused the robbery while hiding in De Xuyen village, Dai Thang commune (Tien Lang, Hai Phong).
The two robbers arrested were: Luong Van Dat (born in 1990, hometown: An Trung village, Tien Cuong commune) and Nguyen Van Doanh (born in 1989, hometown: Lam Cao village, Tu Cuong commune, both in Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city).
The authorities seized a revolver (with 5 bullets) and other objects related to the robbery.
The owner of the robbed gold shop is Mr. Nguyen Dang Nam, father of Mr. Nguyen Dang Ninh.
Currently, the case is under investigation and clarification.
